I received the death certificate for Clyde Arnold that I ordered from the Minnesota Historical Society a few days ago.
I was hoping to get a clue to the birthplace of his mother, Rebecca (Zwig) Arnold. But the certificate information provided by his brother, Roger Arnold, is not accurate. Rebecca was born in Germany. It appears Roger was living in the same area as Clyde, as he notes his address as Wanda, Minnesota.
It does show that Clyde lived for two days after his accident. The cause of death being shock. With notes "Burning house - kindled fire in stove with gasoline. And a contributory factor being burns of skin.
