The Burrills

Mildred (Robbins) Arnold's grandparents, Mary Ann (Burrill) Isbester Day and Julius Day, farmed in the Thawville area.  Some of these pioneer families/relatives, the Isbester, Burrill and Day's, came from the Boston area pre Civil War.  The letters below are from Emily Wilcox to Grandma Arnold with some interesting family history of the Burrill family from Boston.  Emily's family line where we cross is John and Marianne (Bagley) Burrill.  Emily's mother, Caroline, was a sister to Mary Ann (Burrill) Isbester Day.  Possibly the Burrill line will lead us to a Mayflower ancestor.
