Roger Arnold

We did not have a copy of this obit in any of our family records. I contacted the Miami Public Library in Miami, Oklahoma, and they mailed copies (very hard to read copies) of the obituaries for Roger Arnold and his second wife Emma Marie.  I have to work some more on Emma's just too hard to read.

ROGER ARNOLD

Roger Arnold, 78, Fairland, died at Miami Baptist hospital Wednesday at 5 p.m. after a short illness. 
Born Jan.6, 1895, in Roberts, Ill., he moved to Fairland in 1964 from Fairview, Mo.  He was a veteran of World War I, and a retired farmer and stockman.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Emma Arnold, of the home; three sons, Amos Arnold, Mora, Minn., Kenneth Arnold, Valdosta, Ga., and Burt Arnold, Spencer, four brothers, Earnest Arnold [sic], Roberts, Ill., Henry Arnold, Owosso, Mich., Michael Arnold and David Arnold, both of Lamberton, Minn., one sister, Mrs. Samantha Rueck, Onarga, Ill., and ten grandchildren.
Funeral plans will be announced by Cooper funeral home, Fairland.
